CACFO UK Summer Youth Club opened its doors on 20 August 2018 at 40 Northwood Road Thornton Heath, CR7 8HQ.  This project falls under the charity’s commitment to ‘Care for Our Youth’.

The Club will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 5pm-8pm. 

Membership is targeted at youngsters aged 14-18 years old who live locally to CACFO UK.

Membership is free of charge.

This Summer Club offers:

Multi-sports including Football, B2B basketball, Boxing, Martial Arts, etc

Music creation including how to create beats using Logic Pro X, how to perform and how to be a responsible artist

Mentoring, with trained coaches for youngsters to bounce thoughts off

Learn Through Sport (1)

The Multi-sports programme is being led by Joel Samuel – founder of Learn through Sport – and William Figueria.  Both are FA qualified coaches, formerly at Fulham FC and AFC Wimbledon respectively.

Music Creation workshops are being led by Makeda Bennett-Amparbeng, founder of ‘Setting Da Standards Entertainment’.  Makeda has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with honours) in creative music and teaches at CACFO UK Education Centre.

The Club aims to offer pathways to youngsters who excel at music or sport. For example the chance of team trials for football clubs or the opportunity to perform their creative work live on stage.

Most importantly, it provides a safe environment for local children to both have fun and develop.

All staff and volunteers are DBS checked.
